Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a licensed RN to join our wound care program, collaborating with physicians and hospital nursing staff to deliver consistent quality care. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with PA licensure and at least two years of acute care experience; wound care and ambulatory care exposure is desirable.

Ability to assist patient transfers and communicate effectively with patients and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in PA.
• Two years of experience in acute care; wound care and ambulatory care experience desirable.
• Able to perform two-person lifts (wheelchair to exam table) and assist patient mobility.
• Actively engages in conversation with patient and family.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, hospital nursing staff and the healthcare team to provide consistent quality care for wound treatment program patients.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care plans and procedures.
