Job summary

Optalis Healthcare seeks a Wound Nurse Coordinator to lead wound care across our Michigan facilities. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatments while educating patients and families and mentoring staff in best practices.

Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other professionals, you will stay abreast of advances in wound care and ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state.
• Preferred wound care certification (WCC, CWS, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in wound care.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatment plans for patients.

Qualifications
