Job summary

Holland Hospital seeks a registered nurse to support the Wound Care program in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Under the supervision of the Manager, Outpatient Treatment Unit, you will assess patient needs and provide wound, ostomy or continence care with evidence-based practice.

You will serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and help develop care plans, documentation and education consistent with policy and regulation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• Current Michigan RN license (or completed by orientation).
• Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Wound Care program policies and procedures.
• Provide wound, ostomy and continence care to inpatients and outpatients.
• Consult with physicians and nurses, develop care plans and document care.
• Mentor and serve as clinical resource to health care team.
• Promote best practices and education across the organization.
