Job summary

Autumn Lake Healthcare at Patuxent River is seeking a compassionate Wound Nurse to deliver high-quality wound care for residents in our state-of-the-art facility near the University of Maryland Laurel Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatment plans for residents with complex wounds.
• Conduct regular wound assessments and document findings accurately and thoroughly.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize wound care outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of wound care treatments and resident progress.
