Avante at St. Cloud is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to provide weekly monitoring of existing pressure ulcers, with recommendations for treatment changes in the absence of improvement. Responsibilities include recommending and implementing preventative interventions to prevent skin breakdowns for immobile and inactive residents, in accordance with state and federal regulations. The role also involves directing and supervising the restorative needs of all residents, in cooperation with the Rehab Director and Director of Nursing, to prevent decline and maintain the highest practicable level of functioning.
