Job summary

Haralson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Wound Care Nurse RN/LPN for a full-time role from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. You will assess residents with wounds, participate in planning and implementing care with the care team, and support the mission of the facility.

The candidate should be Wound Care Certified with some prior experience in the role and be prepared to contribute to ongoing wound management and education for residents and caregivers.

• Wound Care Certification with some experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wound consultations including detailed wound assessments and intervention planning.
• Document wound assessments and care planning activities for residents.
• Monitor all residents with wounds on an ongoing basis.
• Assess residents' and caregivers' knowledge of wound prevention and provide education as needed.

Haralson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

Haralson Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a Wound Care Nurse RN/LPN for Full Time 8-4:30pm. As part of the Wound Care Team, the wound care nurse participates in assessing and evaluating the clinical needs of resident with wounds, and works with the resident and the rest of the care team in planning and implementing care that addresses the needs. This work is carried out in support of the mission of Haralson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive wound consultations including; detailed wound assessments and recommendations for interventions and care planning.
Conduct wound assessments for resident and complete all associated documentation, tracking and care planning activities.
Ongoing monitoring of all assigned resident with wounds.
Assess resident/caregivers knowledge of wound prevention and treatment. Provide resident/ caregiver with wound prevention / treatment education as needed.

Seeking an individual with Who is Wound Care Certified with Some prior experience in the role.
