Job summary

Jonesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC is seeking a full-time wound care RN/LPN to assess and manage wounds for residents. The role involves collaborating with the care team to plan and implement treatment addressing residents’ needs.

The ideal candidate will perform comprehensive wound assessments, document findings, and provide education to residents and caregivers on prevention and care. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Wound care knowledge and skills required to assess and plan care.
• RN/LPN license required; professional licensure appropriate to role (RN or LPN).
• Ability to document assessments, care planning and progress.
• Collaborative teamwork with care staff to meet resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wound consultations with assessments and intervention recommendations.
• Perform wound assessments for residents and complete documentation, tracking and care planning.
• Provide ongoing monitoring and care for residents with wounds.

Wound nurse needed for Jonesboro Center Nursing and Rehabilitation $5,000 sign on bonus! full time only!

We are currently seeking a full-time wound care RN/LPN. The wound care nurse participates in assessing and evaluating the clinical needs of resident with wounds, and works with the resident and the rest of the care team in planning and implementing care that addresses the needs. This work is carried out in support of the mission of Jonesboro center for Nursing and healing

Wound Care Nurse Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive wound consultations including; detailed wound assessments and recommendations for interventions and care planning.
• Conduct wound assessments for resident and complete all associated documentation, tracking and care planning activities.
• Ongoing monitoring of all assigned resident with wounds.
• Assess resident/caregivers knowledge of wound prevention and treatment. Provide resident/ caregiver with wound prevention / treatment education as needed.
