Job summary

Beaver Dam Health Care Center in Beaver Dam, WI is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse to join our caring team. You will assess wounds, coordinate with supervising physicians, and educate patients and families on care practices to promote healing.

You must be a licensed RN with CPR and BLS certifications; a BSN is strongly preferred. Prior wound care, inpatient and palliative care experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

Beaver Dam Health Care Center is looking for an experienced and motivated Wound Care Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As part of our team, you assess wounds incurred through accidents and surgical procedures to determine both immediate treatment needs and long-term treatment plans. You make regular rounds to patients in your care, coordinate with supervising physicians regarding case management, and liaise between families and health care administrators. Before the patient is discharged, you educate patients and families on care practices and methods to promote wellness and healing. You must be a licensed registered nurse (RN) to be considered for this position.
