Job summary

Beaver Dam Health Care Center in Beaver Dam, WI is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse to join our caring team. You will assess wounds, coordinate with supervising physicians, and educate patients and families on care practices to promote healing.

You must be a licensed RN with CPR and BLS certifications; a BSN is strongly preferred. Prior wound care, inpatient and palliative care experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN.
• CPR and BLS certifications required.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Certification and prior experience in wound care.
• Prior experience in inpatient and palliative care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery processes.
• Educate patients and families on care practices to promote healing and wellness.
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Fulfill other nursing duties as required.
