Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven wound care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in the area surrounding Crossville, Tennessee. This is a part-time opportunity (2 days/week) rounding in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential.

Compensation is fee-for-service with an estimated annual range of $53,934 to $64,720 with no cap on productivity income potential.

Qualifications

• TN NP or PA license required and active regulatory standing.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in palliative care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
