Job summary

Medical Director Services PC is seeking a Wound Care NP/PA to service multiple skilled nursing facilities in St. Louis, MO. You will manage open wounds, coordinate care and work with residents and families.

The role requires a current State NP/PA license, wound/ostomy certification, and LTC experience. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential, as you’ll support infection-control practices and contribute to quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Current State NP/PA license required.
• Wound and ostomy certification.
• Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Solid computer skills; MS Office knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Friendly and a team worker.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all open wounds in the facility, including cleaning and dressing.
• Responsible for completing admission paperwork.
• Providing advice and support to Residents and their families.
• Monitoring Residents and administering medication and treatments.
• Documenting resident care services by charting in Resident & dept. records.
• Protecting residents & staff by adhering to infection-control policies & protocols.
• Resolving resident problems & needs by multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Assuring quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies & standards of care.
• Maintaining resident confidence by keeping information confidential.
• Tracking infection control.
• Monitoring and reporting, including monthly reports.
