Job summary

Medical Director Services PC is hiring a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to service skilled nursing facilities in New Jersey. The role focuses on wound care, ostomy certification, and collaboration with facility staff to maintain high-quality resident care.

Competitive salary will be commensurate with experience. Long-term care experience is preferred, and candidates must hold an active State NP/PA license and be team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all open wounds, including cleansing and dressing

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to resolve resident needs
• Ensure quality of care aligns with facility standards

• Responsible for all open wounds in the facility- including cleaning and dressing

• Responsible for completing admission paperwork

• Providingadvice & support to the Residents and their families

• Monitoring Residents and administering medication and treatments

• DocumentingResident care services by charting in Resident & dept. records

• ProtectingResidents & staff by adhering to infection-control policies & protocols

• ResolvingResident problems & needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies

Requirements:
