Job summary

CareMed Health Solutions is seeking Wound Nurse Practitioners to deliver comprehensive wound care within long-term care facilities. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, diagnosing and treating wounds, and coordinating with facility staff and medical directors.

The role requires Kentucky NP licensure, board certification, and experience with wound care and wound VAC/DME. This on-site position offers meaningful patient impact and collaborative care opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP license in Kentucky.
• Board Certification in wound/geriatric care or related field.
• DEA licensure (Optional).
• Clinical background in wound care; including chronic, infected wounds and Kennedy Ulcers.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care services for residents in long-term care facilities.
• Prescribe medications including controlled substances per Kentucky law.
• Order, review, and follow-up treatments and diagnostic testing.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and primary care physician.
