Responsibilities

• Assess complex wounds on admission and during treatment.
• Clean and dress wounds to promote healing and prevent infection.
• Develop and implement wound treatment plans.
• Monitor wound healing progress and communicate changes with the care team.
• Educate residents and caregivers on wound care and prevention.
• Complete accurate documentation for patient records and insurance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Support residents with compassion, dignity, and respect.
