• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and facility policies.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care and compliance with the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Participate in development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Coordinate with physicians, administrators, and other departments to plan shifts, services, programs, and activities.
• Complete accident/incident reports and other required documentation; ensure accurate charting and timely reporting.
