Job summary

Murrietahcc is seeking an RN/LVN to provide primary skin care to residents per care plans in a California facility located in Murrieta. You will work under the Medical Director/Attending Physician and Director of Nursing to deliver nursing care in accordance with state and federal standards.

The role requires licensure, CPR/BLS, and the ability to communicate in English; wound care credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN degree from accredited school
• Valid RN or LVN license in good standing
• Valid CPR and BLS certification
• Wound care credentials - preferred

Responsibilities

• Consult with the Care Planning Team regarding assessment evaluations
• Ensure nursing care privacy and facility policy adherence
• Check vital signs
• Dress wounds
• Make rounds with physicians when requested
• Listen to residents and families
• Address questions/concerns of residents
• Document progress notes accurately
• Maintain confidentiality of user IDs/passwords
• Follow Infection and Control policies and proper hand-washing
• Report occupational exposures to supervisor
• Attend annual in-service training
• Attend meetings and serve on committees
• Back up LVNs and CNAs as needed
