Job summary

Horizon Rehabilitation Hospital of McKinney is seeking a compassionate Wound Care LVN to join our patient-centered team in McKinney, TX. The role supports wound care patients, follows nursing process, and participates in care planning.

Responsibilities include applying wound care protocols, patient and family education, and collaborating with the care team. On-site schedule Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays with occasional on-call Sundays.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN license to practice in Texas.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Certification in Wound Care encouraged within 1 year of hire.
• One year of wound care experience preferred.
• Experience or interest in wound care skills preferred.
• Ability to identify and implement components of the nursing process; teach patients and families.
