Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Wound Care Coordinator to provide evidence-based nursing across prevention, health maintenance, therapeutic intervention, rehabilitation and palliative care for GI, GU and integumentary disorders. The Wound Care Coordinator provides evidence-based practice that incorporates a unique body of knowledge to provide excellence in prevention, health maintenance, therapeutic intervention, rehabilitative and palliative nursing care to persons with select disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. The Wound Care Coordinator directs efforts to improve quality of care to individuals of all ages directly through hands-on care and indirectly as educators and consultants.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's of Nursing.
• Completion of a WOCN Society accredited WOC education program within 18 months of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Experience in nursing education; able to write and present oral presentations.
• Experience in performance improvement and/or quality initiatives.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
• Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Certification within 18 months of entering position.
