Job summary

Vitruvian Health provides wound and skin care to patients under medical direction, emphasizing prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers and other dermal conditions in the elderly. The RN/LPN team collaborates with nursing leadership to tailor regimens to patient needs and organizational guidelines.

Expect involvement in charting progress, coordinating with physicians, and educating patients and families about care plans.

Qualifications

• RN license in the State of Georgia preferred; LPN license required.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR required.
• Experience in wound care and elderly patient populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor skin problems and treat as ordered by physician.
• Administer and document all wound care treatments.
• Perform monthly skin assessments on patients.
