Responsibilities

• Provides wound and skin care under medical direction, focusing on prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers and skin disorders.
• Modify treatment plans to meet patient needs within established medical practices.
• Document patient progress, treatments, and observations in medical records.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure quality care.
• Educate patients and families about plan of care and wound care routines.
