Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team as a Wound Care Assistant. The role focuses on quality wound care and documentation within clinic policy.

You will assess pain, support wound categories, and interact with patients, families and staff to ensure excellent service. HIPAA compliance and confidentiality are essential to the role.

Qualifications

• Current License or certification as a CNA, Paramedic or EMT.
• BLS certification and renewal as required.

Responsibilities

• Implements and evaluates quality patient care aligned with clinic policies.
• Assist in wound care: Venous, Arterial, Diabetic, Burns, Surgical, Neuropathic, Traumatic, Bacterial, Viral and Fungal categories.
• Assess patient age-specific needs and pain levels; apply appropriate pain management.
• Make wound care decisions within scope of practice.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families and staff; promote good relations.
• Support mission and principles of Mountain View Hospital and center.
• Abide by HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality.
