Job summary

The Wound Care Center is seeking an RN to coordinate clinical activities, applying organizational skills, leadership, planning, implementing, evaluating, and delivering patient care in line with hospital and nursing standards. Shift: Full time, M-Thu 7:00 AM–4:00 PM and Fri 7:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Must hold North Carolina RN licensure; BSN preferred. BCLS certification required; supervisory experience and strong writing ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• BSN or willingness to obtain in a specified timeframe.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Certification in BCLS.
• Supervisory/management experience and effective writing skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Skilled in the use of computers and programs – Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, as well as web-based database programs and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the clinical activities of the Wound Care Center, using organizational skills, leadership, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing patient care.
• Provide patient care through hospital and nursing standards.
• Maintain full access to patient information as required.
