Job summary

Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage nursing and technical care for wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and to participate in direct patient care. Qualifications

• BSN required; CHRN within two years of hire; WOCN within three years.
• Minimum five years of experience.
• Prior wound care or hyperbaric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides wound care services under physician supervision to ensure continuity of care.
• Directs nursing and HBO staff to ensure high quality patient outcomes.
• Oversees staff recruitment, coaching, and disciplinary processes.
• Manages daily Wound Care Center operations, including staffing and physician scheduling.
• Ensures adherence to clinical standards of care in collaboration with Medical Director.
• Monitors budgets and operational expenses.
• Keeps abreast of advances in wound care and hyperbaric medicine.
• Assists in emergencies and maintains compliance responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree (BSN)

CHRN within 2 years

WOCN within 3 years
