Wound Care Assistant

MA/PTA/EMT

(South King County)

Who we are looking for

MA's, PTA's, and EMT's who have a passion for making a difference in skin and wound care and are willing to travel in-person to patients' homes and work with our providers virtually.

Main Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

  • Traveling autonomously to private homes, adult family homes, and independent living facilities
  • Utilize Ultramist technology to provide pain-free debridement
  • Remove and apply medications and bandages
  • Attend regularly scheduled team meetings for continued training, team building, and leadership development
  • Accomplish other tasks as assigned

Skills required to succeed:

  • 1+ years experience as an MA, PTA, or EMT; licensed in Washington State
  • Reliable transportation; valid driver's license and current auto insurance
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations each day (Territory: Tacoma to Renton)
  • Ability to multitask while providing compassionate patient care
  • Telehealth experience - preferred
  • This fast-paced position requires standing for extended periods
  • Computer savvy; intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Teams, Outlook, Excel
  • Leadership qualities and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated, punctual, dependable, able to work independently
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, effective time management
  • Adaptability to changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Trustworthy, honest, positive, professional attitude

Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 hourly - DOE

Anticipated Territory: Puget Sound

This position is classified as: Hourly, Non-Exempt; Full-Time employment

Hours: Monday - Friday, daytime hours, no nights or weekends
