Wound Care Assistant

MA/PTA/EMT (South King County)

Who we are looking for

MA's, PTA's, and EMT's who have a passion for making a difference in skin and wound care and are willing to travel in-person to patients' homes and work with our providers virtually.

Main Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):
  • Traveling autonomously to private homes, adult family homes, and independent living facilities.
  • Utilize Ultramist technology to provide pain-free debridement.
  • Remove and apply medications and bandages.
  • Attend regularly scheduled team meetings for continued training, team building, and leadership development.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Skills Required to Succeed
  • 1+ years experience as an MA, PTA, or EMT; licensed in Washington State.
  • Reliable transportation; valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations each day.
  • Territory: Tacoma to Renton.
  • Ability to multitask while providing compassionate patient care.
  • Telehealth experience - preferred.
  • This fast-paced position requires standing for extended periods.
  • Computer savvy; intermediate proficiency using MS Suite: Word, Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to work well within a team of healthcare providers and partner facilities.
  • Must be self-motivated, punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to changing priorities and services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Trustworthy, honest, with a positive and professional attitude.
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly: $24.00 - $30.00 DOE

Anticipated Territory: Puget Sound

Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Monday - Friday, daytime hours, no nights or weekends.
