Job summary

Trinity Christian Fellowship invites an ordained Assistant Worship Pastor to join our Spirit-filled team in Pinehurst, NC. You will work with the Senior Pastor to plan, lead, and develop worship services and events, fostering authentic worship within the church community.

The role includes leading worship, mentoring the worship team and choir, recruiting volunteers, and providing pastoral care as needed. A Master’s degree in Divinity or related field (or working toward) is preferred, with piano

Qualifications

• Ordination by a denomination acceptable to Trinity Christian Fellowship.
• College degree or progress toward advanced theology/ministry degree.
• Proficiency in playing piano with strong vocal abilities.
• Strong understanding of contemporary and traditional worship cultures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Senior Pastor and church council to plan, organize, and execute worship services and events.
• Lead worship monthly and during other church events, including liturgy and sacraments.
• Provide pastoral counseling and visitations for church members.
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate organizational and leadership skills aligned with the church vision.
• Develop and lead the worship team and choir with the Senior Pastor to foster excellence, teamwork, and spiritual growth.
• Recruit, train, and equip worship volunteers including instrumentalists and vocalists.
• Plan and lead special events and combined worship services as directed by the Senior Pastor or church council.
• Maintain an environment of prayer, fasting, and worship in line with church values and the Holy Spirit's empowerment.
• Support the church community and committees toward unity and the mission of Trinity Christian Fellowship.
• Maintain a ministry lifestyle that reflects Jesus Christ.
