Job summary

The Orchard Church, West Asheville Campus, Asheville, NC is seeking a part-time Worship Coordinator to lead weekly worship, develop new leaders, and coordinate musicians, rehearsals, and production elements.

You will work with the Campus Pastor to craft worship experiences that are prayerful, theologically sound, and aligned with the church’s vision, emphasizing teamwork, excellence, and spiritual growth.

This role requires Sundays on campus plus planning meetings and occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• Evidence of mature Christian faith and growing relationship with Jesus
• Proven excellence as Worship Leader with leadership of a Worship Ministry
• Character aligned with church constitution and faith statements
• Experience in a church environment; ministerial education preferred
• Licensed or Ordained Minister preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly worship services and develop additional worship leaders
• Collaborate with Campus Pastor to plan worship that aligns with the vision
• Coordinate music, musicians, rehearsals, and other worship elements
• Shepherd and develop the Creative Team (Worship, Tech, Communications)
• Oversee people, systems, and equipment for worship environments
• Set and pursue annual goals for Worship and Creative Ministries
• Contribute to church events and staff meetings
