Job summary

Arise Church Denver seeks a Worship Pastor to lead and direct the Worship Ministry, shaping Sunday services to welcome newcomers and move the church into passionate worship as they follow Jesus together.

The role requires leadership over weekly services, rehearsals, production and volunteer teams. It also involves shepherding responsibilities alongside church staff, attending Sundays, and contributing to Easter and Christmas efforts.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a shepherd's heart and be biblically grounded.
• Proficiency as a vocalist/musician and ability to coach others.
• Strong people skills and ability to lead teams.
• Active engagement in church life and weekly service attendance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Worship Ministry (MM) of Arise Church Denver.
• Coordinate with the Lead Pastor to craft engaging Sunday experiences.
• Recruit, train, and motivate volunteers to lead worship creatively.
• Run rehearsals and coach musicians.
• Lead, plan, and manage weekly worship services and events.
• Oversee production of Sunday service, online stream, and other events.
• Prepare for Communion Sundays.
• Champion the WM and its core value of Passionate Worship.
