Austin Baptist Church in Austin, TX seeks a Director of Media Ministry to supervise sound, lighting, and video for Sunday worship and campus events. This full-time role oversees production, budgets, and volunteer teams to ensure engaging services.

You will lead livestreams for remote worship, coordinate with the Executive Pastor, recruit and train volunteers, and manage equipment maintenance and upgrades.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the technical aspects and production of Sunday worship (both services) and church events.
• Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers including the FOH Sound person and Media Associate for worship and events.
• Responsible for spiritual shepherding and development of the media team.
• Manage the transition between services and coordinate labor for outside campus events (weddings, memorials, etc.).
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to sound, lighting, video across campus.
• Create lighting designs with the Media Associate and coordinate visual presentations for services and events.
• Oversee media production, editing, and distribution of podcasts and sermons.
• Prepare and manage budgets for sound, video, and lighting, including purchases and upgrades.
• Direct and execute livestreaming of worship services for remote worship and outreach.
