Job summary

McLean Bible Church in Tyson's area seeks a Production Director to own weekend technical production across audio, video, and lighting, ensuring a distraction-free, excellent experience for in-person and online audiences.

You will lead a large, multi-disciplinary volunteer team, collaborate with the Director of Worship, plan with the Creative teams, oversee auditions/leadership development, and coordinate with the Central AV/Operations group to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in a Production Director or similar role.
• Five+ years in leadership, ideally with volunteers.
• Church experience in multisite context preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Strong faith and active church participation.
• Calm under pressure and quick troubleshooting in live settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical producer for every Sunday gathering across audio, video, and lighting.
• Translate worship vision into technical execution for services and events.
• Maintain a high standard for vocal clarity, full mix, and visuals that support the moment.
• Make real-time technical decisions during services with clear communication.
• Oversee the broadcast experience for online audiences and coordinate with the Central AV/Operations Team.
