Encounter Church Atlanta is seeking a skilled Sound Tech Engineer to provide professional audio services for Sunday worship services, special events, and ministry gatherings. This is an independent contractor position compensated on a project/per-service basis.

Qualifications

• 4+ years live sound experience in church or event settings.
• Proficient with digital mixers and stage monitoring.
• Strong listening skills in worship contexts.
• Reliable, punctual and able to commit to services.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-of-house audio for worship services and events.
• Manage in-ear and stage monitor mixes for team and speakers.
• Conduct pre-service soundchecks and coordinate with worship leads.
• Set up and breakdown audio equipment per schedule.
• Route livestream/broadcast audio with media team.
• Troubleshoot audio issues during services.
• Maintain neat tech booth and stage.
• Communicate needs with worship and production teams.
