Job summary

Glendale Christian Church seeks a Worship Minister to lead weekly worship and coordinate volunteer teams, ensuring biblically faithful, engaging services.

You’ll plan music, blend modern worship with traditional hymns, and develop volunteers for worship and production roles. Strong ProPresenter skills and pastoral leadership are essential; a heart for outreach and spiritual care is expected.

Qualifications

• A committed follower of Jesus Christ whose life reflects biblical standards for Christian leadership.
• Agreement with Glendale Christian Church's doctrine, mission, and ministry philosophy.
• Ability to lead congregational worship vocally and, preferably, instrumentally.
• Plan worship using modern worship and traditional hymns; involve the congregation.

Responsibilities

• Worship planning and weekly leadership in cooperation with the Senior Minister.
• Select music aligning with sermon theme and church calendar to encourage participation.
• Create blended worship experiences with modern songs and hymns.
• Lead rehearsals, schedule volunteers, and provide resources for preparation.
• Develop and care for volunteers across worship and production teams.
• Operate ProPresenter, manage lyrics, slides, and service media; support livestream basics.
• Collaborate with staff to align worship with strategic ministry goals.
