Job summary

Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam, MA, seeks a Worship and Creative Arts Pastor to lead the music, live production, and media ministries under the Lead Pastor. This role guides worship experiences to advance the church’s mission and strengthens teams across volunteers.

You will develop worship leaders, oversee sound and lighting, coordinate productions for Easter and Christmas, and care for the Worship, Sound, and Media ministries within a collaborative church culture.

Qualifications

• Must model the qualities described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9.
• Licensed or ordained with the Assemblies of God, or willing to pursue licensure.
• Exceptional musical talent including vocals, instruments, and music theory.
• Four-year college degree in Worship, Music and Fine Arts or comparable experience.
• Able to lead worship from piano or guitar and mentor volunteer teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the church music, live production, and media ministries to promote worship.
• Serve as primary worship leader during Sunday services and other services as needed.
• Oversee sound, lighting, and the recruitment/training of volunteers.
• Plan and execute productions and special events (Easter, Christmas).
• Pastoral care for Worship, Sound, and Media ministries and collaborate with the Lead Pastor.
