Job summary

Worship Leader Magazine in Mobile, AL seeks a Full-Time Ministerial, salaried leader to oversee Worship & Creative Arts across church services and events. You will recruit and train worship teams, manage budgets, and ensure a vibrant sanctuary environment with a strong volunteer culture.

Meet weekly with campus pastors, supervise music, tech, photography, and communications teams, and develop a robust worship program across campuses. Must model Christian virtues and lead with excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be spiritually mature and able to work with volunteers
• Strong communication, problem solving, and people skills
• Experience in worship ministry and team leadership

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train the worship teams and leaders for each campus
• Develop our sons and daughters in worship and utilize them as soon as they are ready in services
• Ensure music areas remain vital, productive and staffed with trained leaders
• Oversee creative team leaders (Music Director, Tech, Photography, Communications, Video, Social Media)
• Meet weekly with creative team leaders and campus pastors to plan services
• Maintain budgeting for the department
• Ensure sancturary environment reflects genuine worship
• Conduct weekly rehearsals and learn new music
• Identify songs within song parameters
• Coordinate team building activities
• Recruit, train and develop musicians for bands
• Collaborate with Children’s and Youth Pastors to integrate music programs
• Maintain licensing for copyrighted music
• Learn and oversee technical aspects of worship ministry (Ableton, Planning Center)
• Attend staff and leadership meetings and support ministry needs
