Job summary

Tulsa Community College is seeking a World Language Lab Tutor to support student success through one-on-one and small-group tutoring in the World Language Lab. You will coordinate with faculty, tutoring services, and student support resources to foster language learning.

The role requires bilingual proficiency in English and French, Spanish, or ASL, teaching ability in Spanish, French, Japanese or ASL, front desk management, and experience with Microsoft Office 365 and learning management

Qualifications

Bi-lingual in English and another language (French, Spanish, or ASL).
Experience with learning management systems to track student performance.
Associate degree in world languages preferred; degree may be substituted with equivalent work experience.
1 year certificate or training in world languages (Japanese, French, ASL, and/or Spanish).
Ability to teach Spanish, French, Japanese or ASL.

Responsibilities

Tutor students one-on-one or in small groups in the World Language Lab.
Collaborate with faculty, tutoring services and student support services.
Serve as the point of contact in the world language lab and manage day-to-day front desk support.
