Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has an opening for a qualified World Language Teacher in Spanish (background in French, Italian, and/or Latin encouraged) for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school World Languages. The High School World Language Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Language, education, or related field required, with three (3) years or more of experience; master’s degree in Language, education, or related field preferred.
• Excellent classroom management skills and have demonstrated ability to engage students.
• Excellent presentation skills and knowledge with use of instructional technologies, including iPads, in the classroom.
• Software skills including proficiency in Google Suite, Notability, and Apple.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Exemplify professionalism in behavior and performance.
