Job summary

Harwood Hospitality Group is seeking a talented Sommelier for Hotel Swexan in Dallas. You will guide guests through wine and champagne selections, aligning recommendations with tastes and budgets while delivering exceptional service in a high-volume luxury setting.

You will demonstrate extensive wine knowledge, ensure proper presentation and pouring, and collaborate with culinary teams to elevate pairing experiences, including evenings and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sommelier in an upscale, high-volume restaurant.
• CMS or WSET certifications preferred or equivalent from another accredited wine institution.
• Extensive knowledge of wine and wine service techniques.
• Availability to work nights, weekends & holidays.
• A “guest‑first” mindset and passion for providing exemplary guest service.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with wine and champagne selection, considering taste and budget.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide information on venues, menus and pricing.
• Explain how wines or champagne pair with menu items.
• Ensure wines are presented and poured correctly per company standards.
