Job summary

A Hiring Company in Weatherly, PA is seeking a Foundry Engineer to support quality and engineering initiatives, focusing on foundry process controls and procedures to achieve customer satisfaction within a robust quality system.

You will develop gating and riser systems, design tooling, create process control sheets, and test materials using metrology and nondestructive testing methods to ensure conformance to specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field required.
• ASNT Level II nondestructive testing certification for MPT/DPT required.
• Experience with ISO manufacturing methods and ISO quality system requirements preferred.
• Experience with Odyssey ERP system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support safety initiatives and zero-harm goals.
• Develop gating and riser systems for high-quality castings using 3D modelling.
• Create tooling for 3D sand printing and core boxes.
• Develop and maintain process control sheets for molding, core making, and 3D printing.
• Inspect and test products with metrology equipment and nondestructive testing methods.
• Prepare reports and contribute to ISO team and quality documentation.
• Analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve production planning issues.
