Job summary

The Kitchen at Village Hotel F&B in Asheville seeks Café Attendants to provide warm hospitality and guest service, averaging 20 hours per week with flexibility across 40-999 hours per year. The role offers $18-$22/hour plus tips, with shifts typically 7am–5:30am, Monday through Sunday, requiring a cheerful, customer-first attitude and strong cash handling skills.

Candidates should be able to learn Micros, maintain clean work areas, and stay knowledgeable about menus and local Village

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality and/or guest service experience strongly preferred.
• Cheerful, caring attitude and a commitment to world-class guest service.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash/credit transactions.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment; can multitask and prioritize.
• Quickly learn Biltmore products/services, systems, and procedures; strong team player.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Serve and take care of guests.
• Keep area stocked, maintained, neat, and tidy.
• Maintain fresh product at all times.
• Learn Micros system and manage transactions.
• Demonstrate excellent cash handling skills.
• Keep work area clean and sanitized per Health Dept. guidelines.
• Know menu offerings and assist guests confidently.
• Clean coffee/espresso machines and prep areas; perform side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of Village Hotel, Antler Hill Village, events, and Asheville area information.
