Job summary

WORKTECH Academy is seeking a bright, proactive Community Manager to drive memberships, manage members and sector-specific communities, and work on strategic projects for WORKTECH Academy.

You will cultivate and manage WORKTECH Academy global chapters in New York/North America, APAC and EMEA across four sectors: financial, legal, tech and life sciences, liaising with senior-level decision makers and fostering an interest in technology, architecture, culture and the future of work.

Qualifications

  • Graduate level or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2+ years as Community Manager or Membership Manager.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with WordPress.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce).

Responsibilities

  • Manage Global Chapters and oversee WORKTECH Academy chapters with local leads.
  • Drive new memberships and upsell/cross-sell memberships and thought leadership projects.
  • Assist Development Director with proposals and pitches.
  • Attend virtual/in-person events to network and expand industry contacts.
  • Maintain accurate records of key requirements and logistics.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of offerings to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Craft targeted member communications to engage members and promote initiatives.
  • Update article posts on the WORKTECH Academy platform via WordPress.
  • Identify new ways to engage and grow the membership base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Global Chapters: Cultivate and oversee WORKTECH Academy chapters, working with local leads.
  • Drive New Business: Upsell and cross-sell memberships and thought leadership projects, utilising the chapters as a platform.
  • Business Development Support: Assist the Development Director with proposals and pitches.
  • Industry Engagement: Attend virtual/in-person events to network, attract new members, and expand industry contacts.

  • Membership Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of offerings to enhance sales opportunities.

  • Content Management: Update article posts on the WORKTECH Academy platform via WordPress.
  • Innovative Engagement: Identify new ways to engage and grow the membership base.
Requirements
  • Graduate level or relevant industry experience
  • Proven 2 years + of work experience as a Community Manager or Membership Manager
  • Proficient use of Microsoft 365
  • Proficient use of WordPress
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce

Benefits Include
  • Salary Package: OTE £45K+ including bonus
  • 32 days holiday per annum (incl. Bank Holidays) rising to 37 linked to length of service
