Job summary

IRCO’s WorkSource Express Center Career Specialist role is based in Portland, Oregon, delivering career coaching and training services to job seekers from diverse backgrounds. The position operates at the Express Center and the WorkSource N/NE Center with coordination across partners to connect customers to employment and training opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience.
• Ability to pass criminal background check.
• Ability to use a computer proficiently, especially Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide training services and support to WorkSource clients at Express Center and N/NE Center.
• Coordinate with Central City Concern staff to support customers.
• Develop workshops and resources for Express Center participants.
