Job summary

TechnipFMC in Midland, TX, is seeking a Technician to support the assembly and testing of low-complexity mechanical and hydraulic assemblies. You will follow procedures, use required tools, and document test results.

You will assist more experienced technicians, maintain readiness of equipment and tooling, and follow safety practices. A high school diploma or technical diploma is required, with basic knowledge of tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent technical diploma.
• Knowledge/use of tools, equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supports on the assembly and tests of mechanical/ hydraulic assemblies of low complexity.
• Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Cleans components according to specifications and verbal/written instructions.
• Assists more experienced Technicians in more advanced activities and ensures that all equipment, tooling and spare parts are ready for assembly and/or test.
• Learns procedures and practices safety.
