Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. in Newark, Ohio, is hiring a Workplace Support Aide to provide hands-on support to employees with disabilities in retail and warehouse settings.

You will assist with sorting, stocking, or production tasks and reinforce skills taught by Job Coaches to promote independence. The role requires a high school diploma, valid Ohio driver's license, and the ability to pass background and drug tests.

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience and passion for working with individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience in retail, production, or warehouse environments.
• Possess a valid Ohio driver's license and meet driving standards.
• Able to pass a background check and drug test (includes THC).

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on support, task prompting, and guidance to employees with disabilities in retail and warehouse settings.
• Assist employees with job tasks such as sorting, tagging, stocking, or production line work as needed to maintain workflow.
• Reinforce job skills taught by Job Coaches to promote independence and confidence.
• Monitor employee progress and communicate updates or concerns to Career Services Specialist and retail staff.
• Collaborate with management and production leads to ensure employees with disabilities receive appropriate support.
• Support adherence to workplace standards, policies, and procedures.
• Report any safety, behavioral, or performance concerns promptly to supervisory staff.
• Attend meetings and training courses as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hr.

Full-time position, 36- 40 hours per week
