Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Formulates and enforces work safety standards.
• Prevents hazards including hazardous materials, accidents, fires, or other unsafe conditions.
• Ensures compliance with federal or state regulations.
• Delivers safety training to new employees and coordinates ongoing training.
• Develops and maintains the written safety plan.
• Directs activities of the safety committee.
• Maintains safety equipment and signage across MCC sites.
• Submits safety reports to city, state, and federal agencies.
• Stays informed on changes to laws and regulations.
