Job summary

Collectors Universe, Inc. is seeking a Workplace Operations Associate, Vault for the AM shift to help keep the building clean, organized, and secure at our New Castle, DE office.

The role reports to the Workplace Manager, Vault and entails a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with some weekend flexibility. The onsite role requires five days a week in the office and involves custodial duties, event setup, and coordinating with Facilities to meet office needs.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Can prioritize tasks given during scheduled work shift.
• Be detail-oriented with evaluating inventory of supplies.
• Have a strong attention to detail with custodial tasks including cleanliness and sanitation practices.
• Flexibility to adjust to schedule/requirement changes.

Responsibilities

• Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of events and meetings.
• Work with Facilities, Workplace, and Operations to ensure office needs are met.
• Respond to tickets and requests from other departments.
• Be able to read chemical SDS (SAFETY DATA SHEET).
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

Physical Requirements

• Computer Use : Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.
• Hand Use : Regular hand use for various tasks.
• Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds.
• Phone Answering: Talking on the phone and texting may be required, as well as manual dexterity to operate a computer and phone system efficiently.
• Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Hourly Rate

The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $20-$21. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set.
