Job Title: Workplace Experience Receptionist
The Workplace Experience Receptionist serves as the primary ambassador of the workplace and the first point of contact for clients, executives, employees, and visitors. This role focuses on delivering an elevated, hospitality-driven experience that ensures every guest enjoys a welcoming and seamless journey from arrival through departure. You provide highly personalized service while supporting day‑to‑day lobby operations, visitor management, hospitality services, meeting and event support, and general communications for a designated building. This position is part of the Workplace Experience function and is dedicated to delivering world‑class customer service to everyone who enters the facility.
Serve as the first and last point of contact for clients, executives, employees, and visitors, consistently delivering a warm, polished, professional, and personalized experience.
Greet and acknowledge every client, employee, and visitor promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of hospitality upon arrival and departure.
Receive and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel or voicemail, providing professional switchboard coverage with strong telephone etiquette.
Issue visitor passes and coordinate visitor access in accordance with established building and security procedures.
Provide personalized wayfinding, escort services, transportation recommendations, and other hospitality assistance as requested by guests and employees.
Monitor the centralized inbox for email inquiries, ensuring all messages receive timely, accurate, and professional responses or follow‑up action.
Monitor office supply levels and notify appropriate parties when quantities drop below daily operational needs to ensure continuous service.
Print bulk badge uploads for larger events and conferences, ensuring all badges are organized, labeled, and handed off to the responsible coordinator or event host as directed.
Assist with day‑of‑event support for larger events and conferences, following guidance from management to help deliver a smooth guest experience.
Provide cross‑coverage across Workplace Experience functions, including concierge services on multiple floors and switchboard operations, to support daily building operations as needed.
Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems, applying sound judgment while working within defined guidelines.
Assist in resolving client and guest concerns with a service‑first mindset, acknowledging inquiries, taking appropriate action, and escalating matters to management when necessary.
Maintain continuous awareness of lobby activity and proactively assist guests who may require direction, information, or additional support.
High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job‑related experience in customer service or a related field.
Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on delivering a high‑touch, hospitality‑oriented experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset that supports effective problem‑solving and follow‑through.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, executives, employees, vendors, and visitors.
Strong telephone etiquette and the ability to provide professional and accurate switchboard coverage.
Ability to maintain composure, professionalism, and discretion in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize competing requests, and take initiative without compromising service quality.
Ability to follow established procedures and standards while exercising appropriate judgment and discretion.
Previous experience in a corporate reception, luxury hospitality, concierge, executive services, hotel, or other high‑touch customer service environment is preferred.
Experience supporting events or conferences, including guest check‑in and badge management, is an advantage.
Comfort working within structured processes while remaining attentive to individual guest needs.
Service‑first mindset with a strong commitment to creating a welcoming and polished workplace experience.
This is an onsite role based in a professional corporate building, working Monday through Friday. You operate primarily in the lobby and reception areas, supporting workplace experience functions across multiple floors as needed. The environment is fast‑paced and service‑oriented, with a strong emphasis on professionalism, discretion, and high‑quality hospitality. You regularly use office technologies such as Microsoft Office, email, phone systems, and visitor management tools while collaborating with colleagues to support daily operations, events, and conferences. Breakfast and lunch are provided daily, contributing to a supportive and engaging workplace culture.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
