Meet the team

Workplace Resources (WPR) delivers workplace experiences to Cisco employees and optimizes company working capital, focusing on productivity and business outcomes. Formed in April 2024, the Workplace Design & Construction Team within WPR is responsible for project delivery and transformational initiatives that will impact how employees, partners, and customers interact with Cisco spaces for decades to come.

Your Impact

We are seeking a Construction Capital Program Manager based out of our San Jose campus, responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within deadlines and budget, coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans based on business requirements, aligning with organizational strategies.
  • Oversee multiple project performances, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Manage budgets in partnership with the Commercial Management Office and coordinate with business managers for budget submissions.
  • Engage with stakeholders in the Bangalore portfolio, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate project teams and managers, fostering accountability.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Track milestones and prepare status reports for senior management.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and continuously improve management processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in project and program management, especially in construction capital programs.
  • Experience managing diverse teams of vendors and contractors.
  • Proficiency in reporting, communication, and project management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards in California and other US states.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in infrastructure, construction, or IT projects.
  • Certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
