Summary

The Workplace Campaign Coordinator at United Way of the Coastal Empire (UWCE) oversees an assigned portfolio of workplace campaigns and plays a key role in driving participation and revenue through employee engagement and corporate partnership development.

Reporting to the Director, Resource Development Operations this position collaborates with United Way ambassadors, campaign volunteers, and workplace leaders to execute successful workplace campaigns that advance organizational and departmental goals.

This role is responsible for leading the planning and execution of workplace campaigns within an assigned portfolio, delivering engaging presentations, and managing campaign timelines, materials, and account activity. The manager ensures successful campaign outcomes through strong relationship management, communication, and execution, while supporting broader campaign initiatives as needed.

Position Requirements & Qualifications
  • Three (3) years demonstrated history of sales and/or community outreach success with at least one (1) year in nonprofit fundraising.
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred; comparable experience considered.
  • Experience working with executive-level volunteers preferred.
  • CRM database experience preferred, Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency required, Microsoft365 (Teams, SharePoint) preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have use of an insured motor vehicle.
  • Available to work a schedule that may extend over 40 hours per week and sometimes includes early morning and evening activities.
Essential Job Responsibilities

Fundraising and Campaign Management

  • Manage a portfolio of workplace campaigns to drive participation, revenue, and engagement with United Way initiatives.
  • Plan and execute campaigns, including timelines, materials, employee engagement, and campaign completion and reconciliation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with workplace leaders, volunteers, and oversee business champions to support year-round engagement and leadership giving.
  • Deliver presentations and outreach to raise awareness and secure corporate gifts tied to campaigns.

Campaign Tracking and CRM

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of campaign activity, donor interactions, and account updates.
  • Use reports and data to monitor progress toward goals and adjust outreach strategies as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaign results are accurately tracked and aligned with fundraising projections.

Workplace Engagement and Growth

  • Strengthen relationships with workplace partners to boost participation, engagement, and giving.
  • Identify opportunities to grow workplace campaigns, including expanding participation, increasing average gift, and encouraging leadership giving.
  • Conduct outreach, meetings, and presentations to drive engagement and campaign success. And communicate the impact of United Way initiatives.
  • Support onboarding and transitions of new workplace accounts to ensure successful launches and sustained engagement.

Volunteer and Team Support

  • Guide workplace campaign volunteers and ambassadors, providing tools, resources, and support to achieve campaign goals.
  • Monitor campaign progress and help troubleshoot challenges to maintain momentum and consistent execution.
  • Collaborate with Resource Development, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to align materials, communications, and resources.
  • Share insights, contribute to volunteer engagement efforts, and support department-wide initiatives and special projects.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support workplace campaign execution and Resource Development priorities.
