Job summary

1776 Construction Builders LLC is seeking an experienced Working Framing Foreman to lead a commercial metal-stud framing crew on active projects in Arizona. This is a hands-on role requiring you to work alongside the crew in the field while also directing daily operations.

You will read construction drawings, perform layout, and ensure walls, ceilings, and openings are framed to plan. Strong leadership, communication, and safety focus are essential to keep crews productive and quality aligned

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee layout using construction drawings and field dimensions
• Frame commercial metal-stud walls, soffits, ceilings, headers, door openings, and other assemblies
• Read and understand architectural plans, details, reflected ceiling plans, and specifications
• Lead the crew while actively performing framing work
• Assign daily tasks and keep the crew productive and on schedule
• Make sure walls are properly located, plumb, level, square, and built according to plans
• Coordinate field conditions with other trades and identify conflicts
• Track manpower, materials, and job progress
• Communicate material and project needs to the superintendent/project management team
• Maintain quality standards and correct issues before they become punch-list items
• Enforce jobsite safety requirements and maintain an organized work area
• Communicate immediately when drawings or field conditions are unclear
• Take ownership of the crew’s workmanship, productivity, and assigned scope

This is a hands-on position. We are looking for someone who can lead a crew while also working alongside them in the field. This is not a superintendent-only or supervisory position.
