Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role has experience with full cycle accounts receivable and financial reconciliation at Harris, including integrating accounts receivable of new acquisitions. They possess excellent technical skills, such as proficiency in Excel, Integration Manager, and SmartConnect. The candidate should have a high level of attention to detail and a strong drive for continuous learning and improvement.
What Will Be Your New Role
- Managing the accounts receivable integration of new acquisitions, including:
- Proactively communicating with controllers to establish transition plans
- Setting up Great Plains Inventory
- Uploading customers and opening A/R
- Setting up item codes and invoice prefixes
- Creating invoice templates
- Finalizing billing and collections processes
- Configuring Credit Hound to meet collections needs
- Managing and reconciling invoices and payments during the transitional period
- Integrating customer payments into the centralized cash application process
- Documenting all integration tasks for handover to the assigned Working Capital manager once the accounts receivable is operational for the acquisition
Overseeing the cash application team to ensure timely posting of customer payments and reconciliation of cash clearing and intercompany accountsManaging accounts receivable staff and supporting the team as neededContinuously seeking improvements to meet or exceed customer needs and organizational goalsLeading or assisting with special ad hoc Working Capital team projects impacting various stakeholdersWhat We Are Looking For
- Post-secondary education in accounting and/or 3+ years of relevant work experience in accounts receivable and financial reconciliation
- Effective communication skills and experience working with all management levels
- Excellent time management and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
